Leisure travel consulting company Global Escapes and its sister company Corporate Connections recently announced the addition of four new team members.
Jenny Owensby and Kourtney Prater bring their impressive skills to complement the Corporate Connections team, which assists business travelers with their logistical needs. Hannah Angel joins forces with Global Escapes to create unique leisure travel experiences, while Abbey Beckham supports both entities as an administrative assistant.
“With this most recent addition of four dynamic women, we have an even stronger foundation on which to build as we expand to meet the growing needs of our leisure and corporate travelers,” said Tiffany Hines, Global Escapes and Corporate Connections CEO. “Our motivated, talented team members seamlessly provide the knowledge and customer service that our clients have come to expect.”
- Jenny Owensby brings more than 35 years of leisure, group, and corporate travel advising expertise to the team. Previously a travel consultant at McCormick Travel, she now assists with the day-to-day needs of Corporate Connections clients. Owensby attended the University of Georgia and the Omni School of Travel.
- Kourtney Prater comes to Corporate Connections with nearly a decade of experience in customer service, management, and inventory control, most recently at Carvana. A Jackson County native, Prater has garnered customer relationship management skills through her work in various industries, from food and beverage to manufacturing.
- Hannah Angel offers a 10-year history of exceeding personal sales goals in the retail industry, most recently at The Cloister Collection in downtown Athens. A University of Georgia graduate, Angel brings strong customer relationship and marketing skills to the leisure team at Global Escapes. Angel additionally has acquired extensive leadership, marketing, fundraising, event planning, and networking skills as a volunteer with the Junior League of Athens and Extra Special People.
- Abbey Beckham supports both Global Escapes and Corporate Connections as an administrative assistant. She brings extensive communications, customer service, and support experience from her background in the education and nonprofit space. Her nurturing personality has been developed through her years of working with special needs students and with victims of domestic violence through previous professional and volunteer positions. Beckham graduated from the University of North Georgia.
